We build UAE online stores on Shopify, with published price bands — generally AED 8,000–18,000, or AED 18,000–35,000 for multi-location and multi-category operators. Payments, cash on delivery, Arabic-readiness and the Google foundations are part of the build, not upsells you discover later.
Shopify first, and we'll tell you when it isn't
For almost every UAE business, Shopify is the right answer. Payments, security, tax handling and delivery integrations are solved for a monthly fee that costs less than maintaining a custom stack for a single year. More on how we work with the platform: Shopify development in Dubai.
Custom builds make sense when you have a real requirement the platform genuinely can't express. That's rarer than the agencies selling custom builds will tell you — because custom is where the margin is, and where the dependency on the agency lives. If you don't need it, we'll say so and quote you less.
What actually decides a UAE store's success
- Cash on delivery. COD is still a real expectation across a lot of UAE categories. It isn't a checkbox — it changes checkout, fulfilment, reconciliation and your returns process. Decide it before the build, not after.
- Payments that actually clear. Getting a UAE merchant account and the right gateway is often the longest lead time in the whole project. Start it early.
- Delivery reality. Who ships it, how fast, and what it costs across the emirates. Customers abandon at the delivery line more than the price line.
- Arabic, decided upfront. Right-to-left changes layout and typography across every template. Retrofitted, you pay for the build twice.
- Product content. Photography and copy are what actually sell, and they're what actually delays launches. The build is rarely the bottleneck — the catalogue is.
Why most Dubai store projects run late
Almost no ecommerce project is late because of code. It's late because the photos weren't taken and nobody decided the returns policy.
We scope those as real work with real owners and real dates, instead of pretending they'll appear. If you have your catalogue ready, we move fast. If you don't, we'll say that at the quote stage rather than at week ten.
The bands
| Package | Band | For |
|---|---|---|
| Rank+ | ~AED 8–18K | A real UAE store — catalogue, payments, COD, delivery, Arabic-ready, copywriting help, schema and AEO answers, and a 90-day search report. |
| Dominate Local | ~AED 18–35K | Multi-location or multi-category operators — per-area landing pages, quarterly tuning, photo-shoot coordination, priority WhatsApp line. |
Bands are working ranges; the final quote is fixed in writing after the brief. Full detail on the services page, the cost breakdown in how much an ecommerce website costs in Dubai, and the reasoning behind our published pricing in how much a website costs in Dubai.
Every store ships rank-ready
A store nobody finds is an expensive catalogue. Every build includes a verified Search Console property, a Google Business Profile set up or cleaned up, product schema so Google can read your catalogue, and a structure that can actually rank — see local SEO in Dubai for how that side works.
No ranking guarantees: we build the foundations correctly and Google decides the rest.
